    If you’re on a Twitter chat, try to target one that is relevant to your industry. You will always learn something new, gain new insights within your industry and possibly find out what some competitors are doing as well.

    Chats are my absolute favorite because I meet new people every single chat. Whether they are monthly or weekly chats, new people will join and this gives you a chance to engage, connect and meet others within your industry. (Who doesn’t want more relevant people in their audience?)

  • NEW RESEARCH-NEW IDEAS

    Almost every chat, new ideas are always shuffled around. In a recent chat, Twitter analytics came up and the question was asked how often someone should look at their analytics. It was great to hear what others are doing regarding their own analytics and what we should be doing as well.

    Twitter users will also bring up their current best practices when answering questions. This is great content that could be applied to how you write, curate content and how you use social media platforms.

  • MAKE YOURSELF VISIBLE

    This is a great place for people to see you, meet you and engage with you. If you’re relevant, responsive and contributing to the chat, people are more likely to follow you. (You could even be added to a ‘list’ – Aren’t you thrilled?)
